Come join Bing Image Search - the team that brings Bing to life with images from across the web! Our team has a fun start-up mentality where you influence the product direction and impact millions of users daily.

The Bing Image Search team develops advanced technologies to enabled image search on the Web () and across products such as Windows, Office, Xbox and Mobile. We have been one of the primary contributors in growing Bing's overall search market share and user base. Our team owns the user experience, frontend web services, backend data services and Bing's image serving/processing service. We work closely Microsoft Research to develop technologies for image understanding.

Who are we looking for:
A passion for technology, user experience, product quality and teamwork.
Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Computer Science or an equivalent program.
Experience with multithreaded programming in C# and/or C++.
Experience with HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and browser compatibility.
An understanding of image processing and search technologies is a definite plus.

Since Bing launched in June of 2009, the search world has changed for the better. We’re helping people break free from search overload and enabling them to make decisions with Bing’s powerful, friendly tools. We’re attracting new users and changing how people think about Microsoft and Search. We have a long road ahead and we need your help! Key to our continued success in this hypercompetitive space is taking enormous volumes of data and turning them into useful, actionable information to drive increased user engagement through great Bing features and improvements. We’re talking petabytes of data about how searches succeed, how they fail, and how we can improve Bing and our partner properties like maps, commerce, travel, and more.
