Search Technology Center - India (STC-I) is one of Bing’s few global R&D centers that is focused on building Core Search technologies. This team is responsible for data analysis, defining new features, experimentation, design and development. Team works broadly on 3 areas:
• Improving Relevance for surfacing the best “ten blue links”
• Enabling Local Search to find businesses and services near a location
• Powering segment-specific experiences
Some of the key areas of work include training and delivery of machine learning models for various purposes, extracting insights from data analysis, extracting insights from web documents, figuring out relevance based on geo-spatial information, and building complex distributed systems for diagnostics and monitoring. We are looking for Several Senior Developer Leads or Senior Individual Contributors. In this senior role you will be responsible for defining the architecture and delivery of next generation Search Technologies. We are working on several areas of the Search Technology stack.

Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 7+ years’ experience in architecting, managing and delivering advanced engineering projects
- 2+ years’ experience in web scale systems architecture
- Excellent coding skills in C/C++/C#
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- (Optional) Experience using machine learning techniques
- (Optional) Experience with Bing Technology stacks or similar experience
- Ability to demonstrate a history of customer focus, self-motivation and the ability to collaborate cross-group effectively.
People Management:
-A minimum of 2 years of experiencing managing people
