#Bing Performance team is looking for a stellar data analyst who will transform big data into big business.##Research shows that even a few milliseconds delay in delivering the search results of a query will drive users away. The performance team is chartered to make Bing the fastest search engine on the planet. We are a small team composed of extremely talented and engaged individuals with high visibility and huge impact. Our role is to drive actions from real-world performance data, to build tools that enable Bing engineers to create fast features quickly and to grow and share performance expertise.##Your role: #- Make sense out of petabytes of real-world performance data#- Drive performance data strategy to uncover new ways of making Bing faster#- Automate root cause analysis of changes in Bing performance#- Work closely with data analysts across Bing to share tools and methodology##Basic Qualifications: #- M.S. in Math/Statistics or M.S. in Computer Science with strong statistical background#- 5+ years of data analysis/processing experience#- 3+ years of C# or Java##Preferred Qualifications:#- PhD in Math/Statistics#- Demonstrated statistical analysis skills in a business environment#- Knowledge of SQL and Cosmos#- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)#- Understanding of web technologies: HTTP, HTML, JavaScript##Since Bing launched in June of 2009, the search world has changed for the better.
