The Bing Translator team is looking for a superstar PM, with a focus on user experience, to help us become the most exciting and innovative service for automatic translation of natural languages.
We take advantage of the newest research and the best of Bing platform services, sitting in Microsoft Research, and responsible for Bing Translator in all aspects, taking equal advantage of both worlds. This is a small and dedicated group, focused on delivering top quality translations for our users and internal and external partners, with a truly compelling UX. The team takes on new and harder challenges all the time and releases to the public with high frequency, in true startup fashion. We are competitive, always looking to differentiate, and at the same time learn quickly from ourselves and from others.
Bing Translator handles many millions of users every day, and we intend to be the prime utility for translation and language services, helping our users understand the world wide nature of the web, helping webmasters and enterprises to deliver translations to their users, and at the same time helping us to get better through valuable usage we can learn from.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Generate product ideas for compelling user experiences, define requirements, and work closely with design and engineering teams to launch exciting new features of Bing Translator
- Shape our API, widget and documentation so that partners, internal and external developers, webmasters and enterprises can maximize the usefulness of translation in their environment.
- Provide exemplary project leadership in an exceptionally challenging and rewarding environment
- Create well thought out specs focused on enabling end to end customer experiences
- Partner with developer peers and our internal and external partners to shape product designs
- Maintain an unwavering focus on our customers and the value you can deliver to them
- Closely collaborate with partner teams when engineering & business dependencies exist
Requirements:
- 2+ Years of experience in Program Management
- A BS/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- Excellent UX design skills and sense for magic and delight in consumer products
- Familiarity with natural language
- Excellent communication and project driver skills, in both small- and large-group situations
- Extensive cross-group and cross-company collaboration experience, with successful results
- A can-do spirit to tackle tough problems that change the world
- Proven experience of working through the full product cycle from initial design to final product
